If this is an emergency, stop and call 911. This website is not monitored for emergencies and cannot be used to get urgent help. For a crisis line, call Talk Suicide Canada at 1‑833‑456‑4566 or ConnexOntario at 1‑866‑531‑2600.
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of this website, operated by Recover In Home ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Treatment itself is governed by the separate agreements and consents you receive during intake, which take precedence over anything on this website.
2. This site is not medical advice
The content here is general information about our programs. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for speaking with a qualified health professional about your situation. Using this site, submitting the form, or speaking with us on the phone does not create a clinician–patient relationship. That relationship begins only when intake is complete and care is formally arranged.
3. Enquiries and contact
When you submit the contact form you are asking us to get in touch — nothing more. Submitting it does not reserve a place in a program, guarantee admission, or create any obligation on either side. We aim to respond within one business day, but we do not guarantee a response time, and the form is not monitored around the clock.
Please do not send detailed health information through the form. Use the phone line for anything sensitive.
4. Eligibility and clinical suitability
Our programs are for adults in Canada, and are delivered virtually. Virtual care is not appropriate for every situation. Some circumstances — including acute medical risk or a need for supervised inpatient detox — require in-person care before an in-home program can safely begin. We assess suitability at intake and will tell you honestly if we are not the right fit, and where else to look.
5. Program information, pricing, and outcomes
Program details and pricing shown on this site, including any "starting from" figure, are indicative and may change. Your actual cost depends on the program agreed at intake and is confirmed in writing before treatment begins. We are a private practice: we are not a government program and we do not bill provincial health insurance plans.
Any outcome figures on this site refer to internal program data and describe past results for people who completed the program as designed. They are not a promise or prediction of your result. Where the site refers to a results guarantee, the full terms of that guarantee are set out and explained during intake.
6. Insurance and financing
We accept a number of major private and workplace insurance providers. Whether any portion of your care is covered, and how much, depends entirely on your own policy and plan. We confirm what applies to you before treatment begins. We do not guarantee coverage or reimbursement, any statement on this site about insurance is subject to the terms of your individual plan, and we are not responsible for an insurer's decision. Provincial health plans are separate and are not billed.
Financing is offered by a third party, not by us. If you apply, you leave this website and deal directly with that provider under their terms, their approval criteria, and their privacy policy. We are not a party to that agreement and are not responsible for their decisions.
7. Third-party links
This site links to other organisations, including crisis lines, accrediting bodies, and our financing partner. We provide those links for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.
8. Acceptable use
Please use this site lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it, submit false information or someone else's details without their permission, scrape or harvest data from it, or use it to send unsolicited messages.
9. Intellectual property
The content on this site — text, design, logos, and graphics — belongs to Recover In Home or its licensors, except where a third party's trade-marks appear with permission. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. Any other copying, republication, or commercial use requires our written permission.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we provide it "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current at all times, and we may change or withdraw content without notice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here limits our professional obligations to clients in our care, which are governed by the intake agreements and by our clinicians' regulatory colleges.
12. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting consumer protection rights you may have in your own province.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The revised version applies once posted here, and the "last updated" date above will change. Please check back from time to time.
