If this is you

You probably know what you're looking at.

  • You measure how much is left in the bottle when no one's looking.
  • You count how many drinks everyone else has had.
  • You wake up at 3 a.m. with the same thought.
  • You've told yourself “just tonight” more times than you can count.
  • Last week, something happened — and you can't stop thinking about it.

You're not on this page by accident.

You're here because you're sick and tired of being sick and tired.

I don't care what you use.
I just care why you use it.

What you've already tried

None of these have worked. Here's why.

Stopping on your own

It worked for a few days. Maybe a few weeks. Then something happened — a fight, a wedding, a bad week — and you went back. Willpower isn't the missing piece.

AA

The room helps. But AA on its own has no clinician, no plan for the anxiety or depression underneath, and no one designing your treatment. It's a community. Not a program. If AA didn't work for you, we have more — SMART Recovery, REBT, CBT, DBT, motivational work — built into the plan.

A counsellor once a week

One forty‑minute session won't reach what's driving this — and there's no one on the line when it's hard between visits. You need more than that.

Inpatient rehab

30 days locked in a facility. You lose your job. You explain a month‑long absence to everyone who knows you. Most of the people we talk to either won't go or can't afford it. Our program is an alternative to inpatient care — we are rehab, just delivered from home, over 90 days, for a fraction of the cost.

Your family doctor

Six‑month wait. Most aren't trained in addiction. And it goes in your chart.

The option you haven't tried

Recover where you already feel safe — your own home, your own bed, the people who love you in the next room.

On your timeline, not ours. A small team who knows your story. Someone on the phone when it's hard. We stay with you for as long as it takes.

How treatment actually works

Not just therapy on a screen. A 90‑day clinical program.

Your first session is free. A proper clinical assessment with one of our clinicians — what you're drinking, sleep, mood, anxiety, what's been going on. About 30 minutes. Done virtually, from wherever you are. Where medication needs to be part of the plan, we collaborate with your family doctor — we don't prescribe.

Then a written plan. You see it. You approve it. Then it begins.

Five steps

Start to finish.

  1. 01

    Talk to a clinician

30 minutes. Free. On the phone. We listen. We ask the right questions. We tell you honestly if this approach is the right fit. If it isn't, we tell you that too.

  2. 02

A free clinical assessment on video

Yonah or one of our clinicians meets with you in their private virtual office. A proper assessment — substance use, sleep, mood, anxiety, what's been going on. About 30 minutes. Free.

  3. 03

    A written plan

On paper. Goals. The team. Frequency. What family involvement looks like — including no involvement, if that's what you want. You sign off before anything starts.

  4. 04

90 days of treatment, from home

4 video sessions a week. 24/7 phone support. Drug and alcohol testing done remotely. The plan adjusts as you go.

  5. 05

Care that stays after the program ends

Most relapse happens after a program ends. We don't disappear at day 90. Weekly group meetings stay open to you for life. Free refresher sessions if you need them.

What life looks like after

Eight months from now.

A wedding where you don't count drinks.

A dinner where you don't pre‑game in the bathroom.

A Sunday morning where you remember the whole night before.

A grocery run that doesn't end at the LCBO.

Your kids notice the difference before you do.

That's the job. The treatment is how we get there.

Honest answers

The questions you're afraid to ask out loud.

“Will my employer find out?”

No. We never contact your employer. There are no in‑person visits — sessions happen online, in a private virtual office, on your schedule. Nothing goes through insurance to HR.

“Will it end up in my medical chart?”

Not unless you sign for it. We don't talk to your family doctor without your written permission.

“What about withdrawal?”

Real and uncomfortable, but manageable. We don't prescribe medication ourselves — where it helps, a member of our team works with your family doctor on a real, supervised plan, including Medical‑Assisted Treatment where appropriate (e.g. pharmaceutical‑grade cannabis under your doctor's supervision). You're not white‑knuckling alone, and you're not piecing it together from the internet.

“I don't think I'm bad enough for real treatment.”

Most of the people we treat have a job, a family, and a life that looks fine from the outside. You don't have to lose everything before you get help. That's the part most people get wrong.

“What if I lose my friend group? They all drink.”

You probably won't lose them. But how you spend time with them will change. We work on that — it's part of the plan, not an afterthought.

“What if I relapse?”

We don't write you off. Relapse during treatment is information, not failure. Free refresher sessions if you need to come back after the program.

“What does this cost?”

A 90‑day program for a fraction of the cost of a 30‑day inpatient program. We give you a written estimate before anything starts. The first call is free, and the first clinical assessment is free.

We are not a government program and we do not bill OHIP — so there's no wait list, and nothing goes through the public system.

“Do you take OHIP?”

No. We are not a government program and we do not bill OHIP. That's also why there's no six‑month wait list — if you call today, we start today.

What patients say.

I got my life and family back. RecoverInHome helped me learn to manage my depression and anxiety while recovering from alcohol addiction. Yonah connected directly with my root issues to help me resolve them and move forward with my life.

— DanielToronto, ON

I wouldn't be here without their support. They helped me when no one else could. They understood me and my challenges, and helped empower me to make changes so recovery felt natural. They were with me every step of the way.

— ChrisToronto, ON

I kept my job and my marriage, and no one at work ever knew. The sessions fit around my life instead of pulling me out of it — and for the first time someone treated why I was drinking, not just the drinking.

— MariaOttawa, ON

I'd been to two programs before. This was the first that didn't disappear at day 90. The weekly groups are still there when I need them. That's what made it stick.

The next step

One call. 30 minutes. Then you decide.

You don't need a plan. You don't need to be ready. You need 30 minutes on the phone with a clinician who has done this with thousands of people in your exact situation.

After the call, you'll know whether this approach is the right fit, what treatment would look like, what it would cost, and what the next step would be — if you decide there is one. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you who is.

If you follow the program, we guarantee the results. The first call is free. The first clinical assessment is free. We're not a government program — there's no wait list.
