If this is you

You probably remember the appointment.

You broke something, you hurt something, somebody died — the doctor gave you a prescription. The physical pain went away. And something else went away too. The anxiety. The stress. A few months in, the doctor said to wean off and it didn't work. You found a way to keep getting them. Now you can't sleep without them, you can't get through the day without them. The physical pain healed a long time ago. The pills didn't stop.

You're not on this page because you're a different kind of person than you were before all this.

You're here because something a doctor gave you rewired your brain — and you need help getting out of it.

What you've already tried

Here's why none of them got you out.

Cold turkey at home

Dangerous with opioids. Can be life‑threatening with benzos. The withdrawal pushed you back to the pills before day three.

Your doctor's taper schedule

The schedule worked on paper. It didn't work in your body. By week two you were finding pills somewhere else.

Methadone or Suboxone alone

A taper without therapy is just a slower dependency. Most people relapse within a year. We endorse Medical‑Assisted Treatment — methadone, Suboxone, prescribed by your family doctor — alongside our 90‑day program. The medication is one piece. The other piece is what's underneath.

A pain management clinic

Manages the pain. Doesn't manage the part of you that started needing the pills for reasons that weren't pain.

Inpatient rehab

30 days locked away. You lose your job. You explain a month‑long absence to everyone who knows you. Most of our patients won't go. Our 90‑day program is an alternative to inpatient — we are rehab, delivered from home, for a fraction of the cost.

Telling yourself you can manage it

You've been telling yourself that for a while now.

The option you haven't tried

Get off the pills where you already feel safe — your own home, your own bed, the people who love you in the next room.

A supervised taper coordinated with your family doctor. Real therapy that addresses what the pills were also fixing. Someone on the phone when it's hard. On your timeline, not ours.

How treatment actually works

Not just therapy on a screen. A 90‑day clinical program.

Your first session is free. A proper clinical assessment — what you're taking, what you started it for, how long, what's been going on with sleep, mood, anxiety, pain, family. Done virtually, from wherever you are.

Then a written plan. You see it. You approve it. Then it begins.

Five steps

Start to finish.

  1. 01

    Talk to a clinician

30 minutes. Free. On the phone. We listen. We ask the right questions. We tell you honestly if this approach is the right fit. If we think you need a medical detox first, we'll tell you that and help you find one.

  2. 02

A free clinical assessment on video

Yonah or one of our clinicians meets with you in their private virtual office. A proper assessment — what you're taking, sleep, mood, anxiety, pain, family. About 30 minutes. Free.

  3. 03

    A written plan

On paper. Includes your taper schedule (coordinated with your family doctor, if appropriate), your therapy schedule, the team, what family involvement looks like — including no involvement, if that's what you want. You sign off before anything starts.

  4. 04

90 days of treatment, from home

4 video sessions a week. Weekly peer support groups. 24/7 tele‑support. Where medication is part of the plan, a supervised taper coordinated with your family doctor. The plan adjusts as you go.

  5. 05

Care that stays after the program ends

Most relapse happens after a program ends. We don't disappear at day 90. Weekly group meetings stay open to you for life. Free refresher sessions if you need them.

What life looks like after

Eight months from now.

A morning where you wake up without checking the medicine cabinet first.

A doctor's appointment without the inner anxiety about what they'll say.

A night of sleep — real sleep, the first in two years.

Being present with your kids in a way you haven't been since the surgery.

The version of you your family remembers from before all this.

That's the job. The treatment is how we get there.

Honest answers

The questions you're afraid to ask out loud.

“Will my prescribing doctor find out?”

Not from us. We don't talk to your other doctors without your written permission. The exception, by Canadian law for any clinician: if there's an immediate risk of serious harm to you or someone else, we may have to act on it. That's the standard for every doctor in the country.

“Will I have to detox cold turkey?”

No. We don't prescribe medication ourselves — where it's appropriate, a member of our team works with you and your family doctor on a real, supervised taper that fits how your body responds. We endorse Medical‑Assisted Treatment (methadone, Suboxone) where indicated — prescribed by your doctor, with our team supporting the therapy and behavioural side. Not the schedule that didn't work last time.

“I'm not a 'drug addict.'”

You're not. You're a person whose brain chemistry got rewired by a prescription. The treatment is the same. The framing isn't.

“Will my employer find out?”

No. We never contact your employer. There are no in‑person visits — sessions happen online, in a private virtual office, on your schedule. Nothing goes through insurance to HR.

“What if I'm still in real pain?”

We work with that. You don't choose between recovery and suffering. Pain management stays part of your plan — just not through the same medication that got you here.

“What about the anxiety the pills were also fixing?”

That's the part most rehabs miss. We treat it as part of the plan from day one — therapy, tools, REBT/CBT/DBT, peer support. If medication is part of the picture, that decision stays between you and your family doctor; we coordinate so the therapy side and the medication side line up.

“What if I relapse?”

We don't write you off. Relapse during treatment is information, not failure. Free refresher sessions if you need to come back after the program.

“What does this cost?”

A 90‑day program for a fraction of the cost of a 30‑day inpatient program. Written estimate before anything starts. The first call is free, and the first clinical assessment is free.

We are not a government program and we do not bill OHIP — so there's no wait list, and nothing goes through the public system.

“Do you take OHIP?”

No. We are not a government program and we do not bill OHIP. That's also why there's no six‑month wait list — if you call today, we start today.

What patients say.

It started with a prescription after surgery. Two years later I couldn't get through a day without them. They worked with my family doctor on a real taper and treated the anxiety underneath — the part every other program ignored.

— SarahLondon, ON

I wouldn't be here without their support. They helped me when no one else could. They understood me and my challenges, and helped empower me to make changes so recovery felt natural. They were with me every step of the way.

— ChrisToronto, ON

I was terrified of withdrawal. They didn't make me white-knuckle it alone — someone was on the phone at 2 a.m. when I needed it, and I never had to leave home or explain an absence to anyone.

The next step

One call. 30 minutes. Then you decide.

You don't need a plan. You don't need to be ready. You need 30 minutes on the phone with a clinician who has helped people in your exact situation get off these medications safely.

After the call, you'll know whether this approach is the right fit, whether you need a short medical detox first, what treatment would look like, what it would cost, and what the next step would be — if you decide there is one. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you who is.

If you follow the program, we guarantee the results. The first call is free. The first clinical assessment is free. We're not a government program — there's no wait list.
